Hey there! I’m glad you’re here today. Christmas is just a few weeks away and I can’t wait! Today I’m sharing a quick kid’s craft that’s perfect for toddler age (or any age really) and it’s just in time for Christmas. As you know, I stay at home with the kids. We live in Oregon and it’s raining half the time so I have to find things for my toddler to do inside. He loves to paint and draw but we can only hang so many of his paintings on the fridge, right?! So, we took his paintings from the other day and turned them into quick and easy gift tags.
1. Have your child paint on construction paper or card stock. Let dry.
2. Punch the tags out of the paper. If you don’t have a punch, you can just cut small rectangles, hearts, or any shape!
3. Hole punch tags where you want the string to go.
4. Cut string about 6″ and tie through the hole.
5. Write your greeting and you’re done!
This is a perfect project for your kids! My 3 year old loved it. Of course, his favorite part was punching the tags. Such a boy. Grandma and Grandpa will love getting gifts with a personalized tag from your little one. Here’s some gift wrap inspiration for you too! Thanks for visiting today. I hope I was able to inspire you.
