TOP 5 HOYA PLANTS TO COLLECT

While it is important to “get to know your plant” and try to understand the conditions in your own home, I have found that most of my Hoya plants have the same general care needs.

- Watering: Allow the soil to slightly dry between waterings to prevent root rot. Adjust watering frequency based on the plant’s needs and environmental conditions.
- Humidity: Hoyas appreciate higher humidity levels, but they can adapt to average household humidity.
- Potting Mix: Use a well-draining, chunky potting mix to prevent waterlogging.
- Temperature: Maintain a consistent temperature range of 60-80°F (15-27°C).
- Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
- Pruning: Trim leggy growth to encourage bushiness and remove any dead or yellowing leaves.
