It’s a few weeks before Halloween and I’m finally feeling the pressure. Big O wants to be a pumpkin and I’ve tried twice to make a costume with no success. I’m making calls left and right trying to borrow a costume for little O, and Tim and I also need costumes. On top of all that, we have five birthdays in our family within two weeks! So much going on! We had to hurry and get the outside of our house dressed up before trick-or-treaters arrived. So, today I’m sharing our Swinging Bones-Outdoor Halloween Décor.
This little guy turned out so cute! I mean, creepy!
-We bought a bag of bones from BiMart and went to work
-We made a wire coat hanger body form
-Put old toddler clothes on it
-Stuffed it with some news paper and plastic bags
-Stick the bones that you want to show, on the coat hanger form
-Drill a few holes in a 2×4 and string rope through to make a swing
-Once you hang the swing, place your guy on the swing and position him
-Wrap around thin wire to keep him in position
-Add cob webs for a more spooky look
Here are a few other Halloween-ie things around our house.
