The exciting part? We show you, step-by-step, in a 9 minute video with my buddies from The Weekend Warriors Home Show. I love doing videos with Tony and Corey (and Buddy), and I think you’ll love them too!
LET’S GET STARTED!
GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES
Fast Drying Concrete (plus the water and supplies to mix it) -You can use something like this product.
Craft Wire -I like this copper wire but there are tons of different colors to choose from.
Wire Cutters
A Mold -We made our own in the video but you can also use things around the house like small juice boxes or yogurt containers. If you make your own mold, you will need some extra supplies like tape, glue, and pieces of wood. (watch the video below for more details).
Air Plants – I prefer to buy my plants at a local plant shop but these are priced well with good ratings!

AIR PLANT CARE
LIGHT- Most air plants will need bright but filtered light. They should be near a window in order to get enough light.
WATER- Soak air plants in room temperature water for about 15-30 minutes. Remove from the water and lay up side down to dry for about an hour before placing it back it the display.
FERTILIZER- You can use a liquid fertilizer in your soaking water during spring and summer months. This will help to promote blooming!
You can also check out this IG highlight where I show you how to water and care for your air plants!
START DECORATING!
Once you’ve completed this project once, you’ll want to keep making more (trust me it’s addicting)! You’ll have so much fun with this concrete project because they turn out a little different each time. Use them to display air plants around the house for a unique living piece of art!
