Just like many of you, The Monstera genus is one of my favorites! I love all the species! After @plantingpink started #monsteramonday a few years ago, it’s one of my favorite hashtags to explore on Instagram. And since you’re here today, I’m assuming you want to see my picks for The Best Monsteras on Instagram, right? I’ll also be sharing my go-to supplies for caring for and maintaining my own Monsteras at home.

I believe this Monstera deliciosa’s name is Tommy Lasorta. It belongs to @plantingpink and is one of my favorites because it just happens to be THE plant on the cover of our book. It’s just so perky and beautiful. I love it!
This next Monstera is owned by @jrlfrancois one of my favorite IGers from Montreal, Canada. It has variegated leaves and has been given the name ‘Thai Constellation’. The first time I saw it I think my jaw dropped. It’s absolutely beautiful and before you ask…I don’t know where you can get one currently but you can admire this one on Jon’s feed!
This Monstera deliciosa belongs to my fellow Portland plant lover, @brysonjmosley. It was definitely the show stopper at one of our book photoshoots. It’s leaves are HUGE and gorgeous and it will always be one of my favorites!
This variegated beauty is picture perfect but it’s even more beautiful in real life. Just like it’s owner @arianatanabe. I love the way it grows up the wall, just like it would in the wild!
OMG right? This is the home of @jeanburrasca81 and I’ll be moving in A.S.A.P! You’ll see this voluptuous variegated beauty all over his feed and we don’t blame him!
This studio is amazing and the Monstera is the cherry on top! Studio Hear Hear is in Amsterdam and I would probably go there JUST to visit the studio. Rena is a ceramist and does beautiful work. You should check her out!
This Monstera lives in Bogota, Columbia with it’s owner Jan. His IG account is really amazing but this guy is my favorite! The first time I saw it, I loved how much character it had. It trails and then grows back up and down again…SO DARN CUTE!!
I love how Darryl’s Monstera got SO big he has to keep it at church now. LOL! But seriously, this is a really beautiful plant and obviously well taken care of. Can’t wait for the day it outgrows the church!
Part of me wants to share this one JUST so I can brag that’s I’ve seen a REAL Monstera obliqua. I’ll make this quick…They’re rare, they look like Monstera adansonii but they’re not, they’re often mistaken for adansonii, they’re only found in botanical gardens, private collections, and the wild. I saw this one at Missouri Botanical Garden when Morgan and I went about a year ago! It’s beautiful and you can see more of this obliqua on my feed.
I love Pistils Nursery! There are a lot of reason why…like their staff, the solarium, and their NFS Monstera collection. That’s retail lingo (not for sale) for hahaha you can’t have me! But please go visit if you can, they are so beautiful!
