6 Indoor Planter Projects

Hanging Plant Shelf

First up is this hanging plant shelf. This was a fun project my husband and I designed. It was THE most popular image on my social media for years! It was even featured in Domino Magazine and my buddies over at The Weekend Warriors Home Improvement Show did this project with me on their YouTube channel.

Throughout the years, I’ve rotated out different plants to create lush jungle look in our home. Check out this blog post to learn how to make your very own! You can also find my favorite hanging plants here.

Pedestal Planter

This Pedestal Planter is really cute and can be made with a variety of different dinnerware. I used outdoor dinnerware but you can also make these with ceramic, wood, or pretty much any other material. This was a project I made for a visit on KATU2 Afternoon Live.

I ended up using these planters on my outdoor coffee table, and all the neighbors LOVED them! Visit my blog post to learn how.

Plant Hanger With Just One Knot

This plant hanger with just one knot is a super inexpensive way to hang plants. It’s sleek, modern look can be created with just one piece of yarn and one knot. See how to make them here!

Wooden Planter with One Fence Board

What I love about this planter, besides the fact that you can make it with just one fence board, is the 3 different sections that fir a 4″ pot perfectly. Since this is a cedar fence board, you can use this planter box inside or outside.

I made this planter with my friends over at Weekend Warrior Home Improvement Show. You can watch the video here.

Modern Plant Shelf

I absolutely love this plant shelf! Of course you can use it for any little trinkets you want, it doesn’t have to be plants. My husband and I designed this small shelf and we loved it so much, we made a second for the kids’ room.

You can make this shelf for under $10 in materials. Find the DIY instructions here.

Upcycled Hanging Basket Planter

Grab old baskets around the house, or take a trip to your local thrift store! You can make this boho-syle hanging planter with an old basket and just a few materials.

Once you start, it’s hard to stop. Just about every unused basket in our home has been turned into a hanging planter. haha! Check out this post to learn how to make them.

Thank you for visiting today. I hope you loved these projects just as much as I loved making them. If you make them, I’d love for you to share them with me. DM me on IG anytime!
