Hi just found your site and it is great. So I had a cutting that had a couple of three good roots so I plotted it up gave it a good watering and then it looked like it was about to die after a couple of days. Very little and not very good looking at all I almost threw it out then I took it out of the soil put it back in the water and now it has cracked up again and the leaves are all nice and turgid again. What did I do wrong should I wait for more roots?

Sometimes when my plants in water stop growing, i’ll add a tiny bit of fertilizer to the water. Soil naturally has minerals that the plants need to survive and they can’t get that in water. So if you add fertilizer, that’ might help.
