Hey everyone!\u00a0 Thank you so much for joining me today.\u00a0 I am beyond excited to share this Pom Pom Wall Hanging with you.\u00a0 I mean, how adorable is it?!\u00a0 It’s\u00a0 super groovy with a 70’s vibe, lots of texture, and brings so much interest to the room.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We have this small wall area between the front door and the window where we desperately needed something, and not just anything.\u00a0 I’ve tried wreaths, pictures, art, you name it!\u00a0 Nothing was right for that spot until now.\u00a0 If you’ve been following my blog you’ll know that I have a weird obsession with pom poms.\u00a0 I use them whenever possible.\u00a0 I made this Wool Pom Pom Wreath<\/a> that turned out so beautiful.\u00a0 I had it in the spot for a while but felt like I needed something with more color that I could leave up year ’round.<\/p>\n

I also felt like we needed something that wasn’t a wreath.\u00a0 Don’t get me wrong, I love wreaths!\u00a0 (You can see some of my favorite wreaths here.)<\/a>\u00a0 But I wanted something different.<\/p>\n

This was the result!<\/p>\n

You can make one too!<\/p>\n

You’ll need:<\/p>\n

-Yarn 5-6\u00a0 skeins<\/p>\n

-Stiff Plastic Canvas (I used Darice brand.\u00a0 12×18 $1.99)<\/p>\n

-Scissors<\/p>\n

-Pom Pom maker (or you can use your fingers)<\/p>\n

-Hanging tools (I used 2 push pins)<\/p>\n

Let’s get started<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \u00a0Make your pom poms.\u00a0 I used a pom maker and I used my fingers to make different sizes.\u00a0 To achieve this look, you will want to make different sizes.\u00a0 I did about 5 different sizes and\u00a0I did about 70 pom poms total.\u00a0 When you tie around the pom pom, leave at least two 3″ tails.<\/li>\n
  2. Take your pom poms and start tying them\u00a0on.\u00a0 Start at one corner ( I started at bottom left).\u00a0 You want to tie them close together.\u00a0 Continue to tie them on\u00a0but don’t cut the tails yet.<\/li>\n
  3. Once you’re done, hold it up to the wall to see if you need to move any around or add any.\u00a0 Cut all your tails.<\/li>\n
  4. Now hang.\u00a0 I just used a thumb tack on the top middle and one in the middle.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
