Hey guys!\u00a0 Today I’m going to show you how to Make Your Own Thank You Cards.\u00a0 These are seriously so easy!\u00a0 You need very few supplies and they only take a few minutes.\u00a0 If you need a reminder of the reasons why you should send thank you cards, visit this post<\/a>.\u00a0 The holidays are almost behind us and its time to start writing your cards.\u00a0 I always have good intentions but I’m also lazy.\u00a0 HA!\u00a0 Most of my thank you cards for the boy’s birthdays actually went out with our Christmas cards.\u00a0 That’s like\u00a0two months later.\u00a0 Eeek!\u00a0 Better late than never!\u00a0 I have my friend Mary’s thank you card stamped, addressed, and ready to go in the truck…where it’s been for three weeks.\u00a0 She made little O the cutest handmade gifts and we just adore them.\u00a0 Maybe I can get her to share them on Clever Bloom some day?!\u00a0 Okay, anyway, let’s get to the cards.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

You’ll need:<\/p>\n

-Premade cards (or cardstock to make your own)<\/p>\n

–Gold and Black Sharpie<\/a><\/p>\n

-A piece of scrap paper<\/p>\n

-Scissors or Punch in desired shape<\/p>\n

\"MakeTim is home from work for TWELVE whole days so his hands will be assisting me today.\u00a0 Yay!\u00a0 For some reason this reminds me of “Friends” when Joey finds his hand twin in Vegas.\u00a0 HaHaHa!!! \u00a0?This hand is your hand, this hand is my hand, oh wait\u00a0that’s your hand,\u00a0no wait\u00a0it’s my hand!? \u00a0<\/em>I’m laughing so hard right now!\u00a0 He said “You know NASA’s gonna wanna talk to us”.\u00a0 Bahahahaha!!<\/p>\n

  1. Cut or punch the shape you want out of the scratch paper.\u00a0 I punched this tag shape but you can do a heart or a star or a circle.<\/li>\n
  2. Place your shape where you want it on the card and use the gold sharpie to mark around it.\u00a0 There are two different ways here.\u00a0 In the first picture he’s doing an up and down scribble motion.\u00a0 In the second picture he’s doing dots.\u00a0 If you do the dots, be sure to do a lot right around the edge so it really defines the shape.\u00a0\"Make<\/li>\n
  3. Lift your shape to reveal the open space.\u00a0 This is where you’ll write your message with the black sharpie.\u00a0 Some ideas are: Thank You, I love it!, You shouldn’t have, You’re too kind, Thanks, Merci, Gracias, etc.<\/li>\n
  4. Write your message inside and you’re done!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
