\"My<\/a><\/p>\n

Hello!!\u00a0 I’m glad you’re here.\u00a0 Today I’m sharing My Christmas Guest Room.\u00a0 Most of the time it’s the kids TV\/play room, but for about one week out of the year, it serves as a guest room.\u00a0 My mother in law lives in Arizona and stays with us about four days in the summer and four days during Christmas.\u00a0 Actually, this is the first Christmas she’ll be with us.\u00a0 I’m really excited to have her and I know the kids are too.<\/p>\n

Okay, I’m not going to lie.\u00a0 This post was actually going to be a “Home Tour” type post but I just couldn’t get my act together.\u00a0 If you haven’t seen our tree yet, you can see My Eclectic Neutral Tree here<\/a>.\u00a0 Otherwise, the rest of our house is off limits.\u00a0 Ha!<\/p>\n

\"My<\/a><\/p>\n

Welcome to our guest room!\u00a0 I just love how the sun billows into this place.\u00a0 Even on a day like today when it’s 40 degrees.\u00a0 I prefer to spend my time in here because the rest of the house is so dark.<\/p>\n

One of the first things you’ll notice is the super cute pinecone bunting.\u00a0 It’s a DIY I whipped up in about\u00a0two minutes.\u00a0 It’s just string and pinecones and you’re done.\u00a0 SO CUTE!\u00a0 The wreath is a real one I picked up at the farm where we got our Christmas tree.\u00a0 It’s perfectly made and was only $15.\u00a0 Yay!\u00a0\u00a0If you\u00a0haven’t heard of\u00a0Lucy at Craftberry Bush<\/a>, she paints these beautiful watercolor calendars and free\u00a0printables.\u00a0 I printed this awesome\u00a0red wagon with tree on top.\u00a0 Printables are a fun way to switch things up for the seasons and you can find them for free most of the time.\u00a0 Bonus!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This little corner is just super simple.\u00a0 The tree is from World Market like a hundred years ago and the Plaid Pillows were a DIY you can\u00a0find here<\/a>.\u00a0 My friend Amanda from Ohio texted me the other day and said “Is it normal to want to spray paint things in your house to go with your d\u00e9cor”?\u00a0 Hahaha!\u00a0 It’s a sad truth.\u00a0 This small book shelf that I picked up at the Salvation Army years ago has been painted like five times, at least!\u00a0 The chair is an old dining chair that used to be red.\u00a0 I recently painted it “Vintage Linen” from Behr.<\/p>\n

Back to the wall!\u00a0 All the frames are Goodwill finds that I painted four different colors.\u00a0 It’s just fun to be able to change the things on the\u00a0inside or leave them empty, whatever.\u00a0 I’ll keep it like this until the new year then I’ll switch it up again.\u00a0 Hmm…what should I do then?!\u00a0Okay okay, I know I already talked about it but that pinecone bunting is too much cuteness.\u00a0 Is it not?!\u00a0 I love the way this little room turned out.\u00a0 Don’t you want to come stay with us now?\u00a0 The only thing not pictured are my little ankle biters.\u00a0 Trust me, if you do stay with us, they’ll be all over you. \u00a0Oh, and in true Harding House fashion, the bed is loosely made. \u00a0I wouldn’t want you all to think beds are actually made around here!<\/p>\n
