It’s starting to get spooky around here!!!\u00a0 October is around the corner and I can’t wait!\u00a0 It’s our anniversary , my birthday, and Halloween.\u00a0 Every year we pull out the decorations, push the plants to the side, and decorate around them.\u00a0 This year I decided to incorporate the plants into the decor.\u00a0 I’m sure I’ll add more as I go but I wanted to share what I’ve done so far with our Halloween Houseplants!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

You don’t need many supplies.\u00a0 I think I spent about $10 or so at the dollar store.\u00a0 Honestly, when it comes to holidays like Halloween or Fourth of July I don’t mind buying supplies at the dollar store.\u00a0 They actually have some good stuff for a dollar!<\/p>\n

I bought some googly eyes, skeletons, creepy cloth, gauze…<\/p>\n

\"Halloween<\/p>\n

The beauty of this decor is that you don’t have to put too much thought into it.\u00a0 The first thing I did was wrap a terracotta pot with gauze.\u00a0 There’s no special way to do it.\u00a0 Just wrap, wrap, wrap and tuck into itself.\u00a0 You’re just going around the pot so it doesn’t prevent you from watering or caring for the plant!\u00a0 Once you’re done wrapping just tuck in some googly eyes in the gauze to create this super cute (I mean spoooky) mummy!<\/p>\n

\"Halloween<\/p>\n

This sansevieria pot is now a spooky graveyard.\u00a0 All I did here was rip the arms one of the small skeletons and stick them into the soil.\u00a0 I love how it looks like this poor soul is trying to rejoin us!<\/p>\n

It’s fun to see where your imagination will take you!\u00a0 I found these giant googly eyes that I stuck on my hoya obovata and I love how the plant looks like hair.<\/p>\n
