Hey guys!\u00a0 Thanks for visiting today.\u00a0 I love sending cards to people!\u00a0 When the holidays arrive and I get to send Christmas cards, it makes me so happy!!\u00a0 I love sending cards for no reason too.\u00a0 It’s so fun to see that one piece of mail in the pile of junk that’s handwritten… you KNOW it’s special.\u00a0 Today I’m sharing this quick tutorial.\u00a0 DIY Glitter Stationary.\u00a0 I swear glitter just puts a smile on my face.\u00a0 Who wouldn’t want to get this card in the mail?!\u00a0 It’s simple but has so much pizazz!<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \u00a0Place a straight edge or painter’s tape (test it before to make sure it doesn’t stick to your stationary) on your stationary towards the bottom.\u00a0 I did an angle about 1\/2″ from the bottom.<\/li>\n
  2. Use your brush to brush on a good layer of modge podge.\u00a0 Not too thick but enough for the glitter to really stick.<\/li>\n
  3. Immediately sprinkle the glitter on.\u00a0 Shake off and let dry completely (maybe 15-20 min.)\u00a0 If you use painter’s tape only peel it off after the glitter dries.<\/li>\n
  4. Now paint one more thin layer of modge podge over the top.\u00a0 This will hold the glitter in place.\u00a0 This is where it’s important you use the pearl finish and not the matte.\u00a0 You don’t want your glitter to lose it’s shine!<\/li>\n
  5. Let dry completely an you’re done!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Can you think of anyone who could really use a pick-me-up?!\u00a0 Send them a card!\u00a0 Just let them know you’re thinking about them.\u00a0 You don’t have to say much but TRUST ME, it will really make them feel good!\u00a0 Stick a comic or something in there to make them laugh.\u00a0 If you have a printer, it’s fun to look up memes from your favorite TV show or movie and print them out.<\/p>\n
