I started Clever Bloom as a way to share my crafts and DIY project with everyone.  Blogging is so overwhelming!  Seriously, there are so many different things to learn, rules, etiquette…I can’t keep up with it all!  Things sound better in my head and once I type it out, it’s a big mess.  I look back at some of my first blog posts and I cringe.  The pictures are awful (I’m still trying to figure out my camera) and I used so many commas…it’s abysmal!  Yep, I learned that word from Joey.  The thing is, it was so much work to do a different craft project every few days.  Some of you do it and I just don’t see how?!  I realized that what I should really be blogging about were the things I was actually doing every day.  Parenting?  You ask?!  NO!!  Yes, that is what I do but trust me, you don’t need parenting advise from me.  It’s a zoo over here!

HOUSEPLANTS!  It’s what I love!  My love for plants started about 20 years ago.  I don’t have any formal schooling on the subject but thanks to local nurseries providing classes, the community college, and all my fellow #plantnerds in the Instagram fam, I have learned so much!  I love watching leaves unfurl on my Monstera, I love how my String of hearts literally grows over night, and I love that my baby Pilea pushes a new leaf though every few days.
