Super helpful! I just got a pretty healthy and medium-sized one and had no clue how to care for it. It sits in my office and is beautiful for me to glance at while I work. Right now, it's very healthy, but I've only watered once since getting the plant about 2 weeks ago. I'll start giving it more sunlight, you said it likes that, but no direct sunlight. Got it! Thanks!

I especially appreciate the emphasis on well-draining soil and letting the plant dry out a bit between waterings. The point about rotating the plant regularly to avoid a lopsided stem is also something I wouldn't have thought of on my own.

I'm wondering about a few other common issues that seem to pop up frequently in the comments. Many people are reporting yellowing or curling leaves, often accompanied by those little white spots on the underside. While you mentioned that the white spots are likely mineral deposits from overwatering, what about the curling leaves? Is there a specific environmental factor (like humidity or temperature) that can contribute to this? Also, do you recommend a specific type of fertilizer for Pileas, and how often should it be applied? There seems to be some concern about fertilizer burn in the comments.

Another recurring theme is finding the plants in the first place! Although you've updated the article to mention that they're becoming more widely available, it still seems like many people are having trouble locating them. Perhaps suggesting some online retailers that reliably ship healthy Pileas would be a helpful addition. Or, even better, including a section on how to trade cuttings with other plant enthusiasts in a safe and responsible way.

Finally, a lot of readers are asking about the best way to handle leggy or overgrown plants. Is it possible to prune Pileas to encourage bushier growth, or is it better to simply propagate new plants from the offsets? Any tips on how to maintain a compact and attractive shape would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again for all the valuable information. I'm definitely feeling more confident about my ability to keep my Pilea happy and healthy!
